New Registrations Process
Upon contacting the school an appointment will be made for you to meet or talk via video link with either the Director or Principal of the School. They will answer any specific questions which you may have. An appointment will also be made for your child to meet and have a conversation with a member of the teaching staff either in person or via video link either in Arabic or English.
Following the successful interviews, applicants will receive a conditional offer of a place. Once this has been accepted in writing, the Registration Fee of OMR 200 becomes payable, followed by the completion of the administrative process.
Upon application we will send you a copy of our Registration Booklet and Terms and Conditions 2020 – 2021 for you to read and complete. Only when both documents have been signed and returned to the school can a place be reserved.
The School is always pleased to welcome visitors into the school for a tour of the facilities and resources. All visits to the school must be by appointment only. Please contact the school to book a tour. The current safety protocols of the school dictate that all visitors to the school must wear a face mask at all times and sanitize their hands immediately upon entry into the school. All children aged 5 years and above must also wear face masks. Social distancing is practiced within the school.
Al Maha Private School under the Coronavirus closure
Since all schools in the Sultanate were closed by the Supreme Committee for Covid 19 on March 15th 2020, we have continued to provide high quality, live, online face to face lessons for all our existing children from KG1 – Year 2. We also provided a free summer activity programme for all our existing children.
The New Academic Year 2020 – 2021
The School has been approved by the Ministry of Education to start it's new academic year 2020 - 2021 from Sunday September 13th for Years 1, 2 and 3, using online learning methods only. From November 1st the school will be using a blended learning method which will involve children coming back into the school for some lessons, and others being provided via the online learning platforms. Full details of this timetable will be available from the Ministry in the near future.
All our Kindergarten classes are continuing with the TalentEd online learning programme until October 22nd. On November 1st the children will be allowed to return to school to follow a blended learning programme similar to the primary school children.
