Daily Routine
What our regular school day looks like?
Assembly
At AMPS, our school day is designed to create a nurturing and engaging environment for our kindergarten students. The day begins with a warm welcome to all children, followed by morning assembly from Sunday to Wednesday, lasting for 15 minutes each. Every Thursday, we hold an extended assembly lasting for 30 minutes, which plays a vital role in fostering community spirit and reinforcing our core values.
Morning Routine
We incorporate free play at the beginning of each day, allowing children to start their day in a relaxed and creative manner. During months of good weather, children have the opportunity to play outdoors, enjoying fresh air and engaging in water and sand activities. In hotter months, these activities are moved indoors to ensure comfort and safety.
Snack Breaks
We prioritize healthy eating habits and encourage parents to provide a nutritious snack and packed lunch for their child, ensuring a balanced school day. Children enjoy two snack breaks a day, each lasting 30 minutes.
Flexible Timetable and Rotating Subjects
Our timetable varies each day, ensuring a diverse and stimulating learning experience. Subjects are alternated throughout the day, with each lesson lasting 30 minutes to align with the attention span of children aged 3-5 years.
